At an early age, Dr. Ashley N. Roy learned how important dentistry is and the profound impact it can have on your life. Having had dental issues herself, she understands the difference between hesitating to smile for fear of what others might think and smiling with confidence while fully sharing yourself with others.
Dr. Roy’s own dentist left an indelible impression on her as he gave her the gift of being able to smile in this beautiful, unabashed way. It is her dream and life’s purpose to do this for others.
Dr. Roy earned her Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Texas Permian Basin, then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry. She began practicing dentistry and joined our team in 2020.
Because she feels that it is important to include her patients in the treatment planning process, Dr. Roy takes the time to tailor dental care to the individual. Every patient is different, and the best care is personalized, taking into consideration each patient’s concerns and oral health goals. Patient education is paramount in this process, and her patients love that she explains what is going on with their oral health and includes them in their care plans.
Dr. Roy’s favorite part of her job is taking care of people. She enjoys learning about them, teaching them about dentistry and oral health, getting them out of pain, helping them smile with confidence, and being an advocate for optimal oral health through every phase of life. Her patients are like family to her, and she is committed to making each patient’s dental experience as comfortable as possible. She loves to exceed her patients’ expectations!
During her free time, Dr. Roy enjoys playing the piano, ballroom and Latin dancing with her husband, and being outdoors at parks or the beach.
